Song of the day: Man of Constant Sorrow
·         Lunch Menu:  Chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, broccoli/cheese/rice casserole, milk, fruit.
·         Congratulations to the girl’s basketball team on their victory over Harts.
·         The deadline to register for the trips to Washington DC and Williamsburg has been extended to February 1st. It is very important that you see Ms. Clapham if you are interested in going on the trip and haven’t registered yet.
·         There will be a Valentine’s Day Dance on Friday, February 8 from 6:00-8:00. Honor Society members need to donate a bottle of soda.
·         Football Conditioning will begin on Monday February 25, 2013. Anyone interested in playing Middle School Football needs to attend and they must have a physical to attend these conditioning activities.

·         Mr. Browning will be meeting with the Student Council during the Lunch Sessions on Friday February 1, 2013.

·         Students are to bring any Spirit and Pride Orders they have to their First Period Teacher. First Period Teachers need to bring those orders and the money to Mr. Browning.

·         Lunch Menu:  Steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, milk, fruit.
·         The deadline to register for the trips to Washington DC and Williamsburg has been extended to February 1st. It is very important that you see Ms. Clapham if you are interested in going on the trip and haven’t registered yet.
·         Bring in the boxtops for the Boxtops for Education today. They will need to be given to Ms. Bias in room 148.
·         Anyone who donated and dessert for the Prayer Club dinner and did not pick up their baking dish needs to see Ms. Kirk.
·         There will be a Valentine’s Day Dance on Friday, February 8 from 6:00-8:00. Honor Society members need to donate a bottle of soda.
·         Mrs. Maynard would like to give a shoutout to Kierston, Gregory, Cameron, Katherine, Dustin, Hannah, and Allison for scoring a six on WV Writes.

·         Lunch Menu:  Cheeseburger, lettuce/tomato, pork and beans,  milk, fruit.
·         Teachers please continue to review the lunchtime fire drill procedure with students. An email with details has been sent to you.  Due to the cold weather, we have temporary postponed plans to conduct the lunch time fire drill.
·         We will be operating on the 2 hour delay schedule. Check your email for details.
·         Students of the Month are Destiny, Reed, Brandon, Angel, Jada, Matthew, Raven, Shiann, Rebekah and Austin. Stop by Ms. Clapham’s office to pick up your movie pass. See Ms. Lane to get your photo taken for the bulletin board.

·        Make up picture money is due today. 8^th grade students need to remember to bring their baby photos to Ms. Lane.
·        There will be a day ballgame today at 1:00. The cost of admission is $2.00.  Forms for collecting money have been placed in teacher mailboxes. Check your email for details.

·        CMS Prayer Club members need to bring in a cake, brownies or dessert which will be included as a part of the pinto bean dinners. Do not package or cut the dessert items, Ms. Carter and Ms. Kirk will take care of that. The items will need to be brought in today
