·         There will sign ups for girls  softball league on February 23 from 12-3 at the old Chapmanville High School. You must be 4-13 years of age. Bring your birth certificate and $45. For more information see the flier on the doors of the school.
·         8^th grade baby pictures are due today. If they are not in today, they will not be accepted.
·         Football Conditioning will begin on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 4:30. Anyone interested in playing Middle School Football needs to attend and they must have a physical to attend these conditioning activities.

·         Try outs for baseball will be next Monday and Tuesday (25^th and 26^th) and all those trying out must have a physical.

·         Mandatory track practice will begin on Monday  Feb 25th, from 3-4 you must have a physical on file to participate

·         Yearbook orders are being taken. The cost is $45. They may be purchased here at the school or at www.yearbookforever.com

·         There will be a formal dress sale at CRHS on February 23 from 10-1:00.
·         The Coalfield Youth Soccer League will host signs ups at Chapmanville Town Hall and on the island in Logan on the following Saturdays from 12pm-2pm: February  23^rd, and March 2^nd.

·         Congratulations to the girls basketball team for winning the championship game in this past weekend’s tournament. Congratulations to the cheerleaders for winning 2^nd place in their competition!
·         The math coaches want to send a shout out to all the math field day participants for the terrific job they did at math field day.
·         Congratulations to the 5^th and 7^th grade math field day teams for capturing first place in the team competition at math field day. Congratulations to the following individuals for placing in the individual competition: 5^th grade:  2^nd alternate Cheyenne and 3^rd place Trey, 6^th grade: first alternate Shae, 7^th grade: 2^nd alternate Jacy, 1^st alternate James, 3^rd place Carrie, and Savannah, 2^nd place.

·         Students need to pick up three items at breakfast and during grab and go.
·         The representatives from Washington National will be in the copier room today with information on new permanent insurance benefits. Please stop by during break, planning, lunch or after school to receive information and a free gift. You will also be registered for a grand prize. Congratulations to the first drawing winner, Ms. Mahon.
·         Send all money for bean dinners to Mr. Mullins by the end of 2^nd period.
·         We want to encourage everyone to come out and cheer on the basketball team and cheerleaders as they wrap up their tournament tomorrow at Harts Middle School . Doors will open at 9:00. The cheerleaders will be in competition at 10:00 tomorrow.  The championship basketball game will begin at 2:00.
