·         The 7th and 8th Grade Choir members need to report to the auditorium at 8:30.
·         Tomorrow morning at 8:00 will be the 8th grade awards. 7th grade awards will follow at 9:00.
·         The Sports Banquet will be at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon.
·         On June 6th the CRHS Choir will be performing.
·         Monday, June 9th the 8th grade “Get a Life Activity” will be in the gym.
·         There will be inflatables in the evening on the 9th.
·         Last Day for students will be on the 10th. Reports Card will not be released until 2pm.

·         8th Grade Night will be tonight at CRHS beginning at 6pm.
·         The 3rd Nine Weeks Winning Team Altrusimo will be traveling to ALPHA Running Right Mining Academy on Friday, May 20th. Students you cannot wear flip flops, sandals, or slip on shoes to ALPHA due to safety reasons. You will not be allowed on the bus if you are wearing the wrong kind of shoes.
·         The Prayer Club will be going to Camden Park today.
  • The 8th Grade Students need to turn their PEP’s in to Mrs. Porter ASAP.
  • Relay for Life members need to turn in their T-shirt orders and forms to Mrs. Adkins today.
  • The National Junior Honor Society will be having a hat day on Friday. This will be to celebrate the end of the year by calling it a wrap and wearing a hat. The cost is $1.00.

  • Saturday May 17th will be our Spring Dance from 6 til 9. The dance is for CMS students only. Formal dress is not required. The cost of the dance is $7.00 per student.
  • Pictures will be taken at the dance. Packages range from 5 to 20 dollars.
  • Students Book Fair will begin on Monday. It is Buy One Get One Free.

  • Mr. Barker is selling tickets for the WV Lightning Semi-Pro football game, May 10th, at Tiger Stadium in Chapmanville. Game time is 7:00 PM and tickets cost $8 for Adults and $6 for Students. There will be all day football events with a weight lifting competition at 10:00 AM, Punt, Pass, and Kick competition at Noon, and more!
  • A shout out to wish Skylar  a Happy Birthday from Taylor and Myka.
  • All Honor Society forms need to be turned in to Mrs. Williams by tomorrow.

·         Mr. Dugan wants to give a shout-out to the band members that went to CRHS for the regional ratings yesterday. You represented CMS very well and all 3 judges were impressed. Way to Go!!

  • Progress Reports will be moved to the 11th.
  • The end of the 3rd nine weeks will be moved to the 21st. The 4th nine weeks will begin on the 24th.
  • Report Cards will go out on the 28th.
  • Please be reminded we will be testing in the Computer Labs upstairs. Students it is important that you are quiet when you are near the testing rooms.  It doesn’t matter if you are in the hallway or in your classrooms you need to keep the noise level at a minimum.
  • There will be Band Practice today after school until 4pm.
  • There will be track practice today from 3-4. Please meet in Mrs. Williams’ Room.
  • The seventh grade students scheduled to test this afternoon will eat lunch at 11:24. The rosters are posted in the hallway. Students please check for your updated testing day and time.
